De la mà de Alex Turner (vocalista d'Arctic Monkeys) i Miles Kane (ex vocalista de The Rascals) format el 2007 i produït per James Ford surt un duo musical anglès d'indie rock anomenat "The last shadow puppets". El 14 d'abril de 2008 van treure el seu primer single anomenat: "The age of the understament"
